Covid-19 Precautions
The Foot & Ankle Centers of Frisco, Little Elm, and McKinney are open and seeing patients. We have been closely monitoring the CDC guidelines for safe practice recommendations. In order to protect our patients and our staff we have implemented new safety guidelines listed below.
All patients are screened prior to their appointment. We ask that you reschedule your appointment if:
- You have traveled out of the state in the past 2 weeks
- Been exposed to someone with Covid-19
- Awaiting Covid-19 test results
- Experiencing any symptoms such as Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Chills, Cough, Running nose, Shore throat, Loss in sense of tastes or smell, or shortness of breath
- Temperature is taken of all patients as they enter our buildings.
- All staff members have their temperatures taken and are screened each day before they begin work.
- All patients are required to wear masks upon entry to our buildings
- We ask that all patients visit our providers by themselves unless they are under 18 or require assistance.
- PPE is provided for all staff members. Gloves are mandatory for staff and are changed between every patient encounter.
- Deep cleaning is performed on all rooms between patients.
- Plexiglass barriers protect patients from interaction at check-in and check-out
- All Doctors have been vaccinated; staff are recommended to get vaccinated once available
- UV light air sanitizers are used in every treatment room in order to reduce the number of virulent airborne particles.
