I am so glad I found Dr. Tavakoli! She was the 5th podiatrist I saw, trying to find the best solution. From the first call everyone was kind and helpful, whether on the phone or in person. Dr. Tavakoli is warm and friendly and put me at ease. She was open to all my questions and the research I'd done before going in, bring her extensive knowledge and experience to find the best solution for me. I never felt rushed or treated like a number and my appointment were usually right on time. I have not had a single issue in recovery following fusion surgery and have already shared her number with people who ask about my surgery boot and have their own issues. I was born with a bad bunion on my left foot that was causing me problems for years. I am a freshman in college and like to do lots of sports, so it was really burdensome to do them with that bunion. I had heard about Dr Tavakoli through a friend and I decided to get it handled, and it was a great decision. I did the lapiplasty surgery that they recommended in June of 2023 and I never felt more comfortable with medical staff before. I've had surgery in the past before but it didn't compare to the hospitality I felt here. They were very attentive to my problems and gave proper feedback. Usually when I go to doctors they never really listen and empathize with my issues, but here the staff was very empathetic and would answer any question I had honestly, directly, and with understanding. I felt this the most with Dr Tavakoli, she is the definition of a listener and i'm very greatful for her work. Any problem I had, wether it'd be with medicine or overall foot pain, she properly adapted to my needs and helped me feel way better. I am now 3 months out of surgery and still recovering, and the process was honestly difficult at first, but Dr Tavakoli was very helpful and resourceful to help steer me into the proper recovery direction. Now I feel great, I'm walking better, theres no pain in my foot, and I can't wait to get back to my physical activities. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to fix any issues with your feet. I've had family friends come here as well for their problems, and they were also extremely satisfied by the work here.

I am currently in my third week of recovery after having foot surgery. I originally went in thinking I would have a traditional Lapiplasty Bunion Correction Surgery, but after Dr. Tavakoli examined my foot she gave me a much more customized approach, which turned out to be even less expensive in the end. I have had very minimal pain throughout the recovery process. I can't imagine anyone else doing my surgery besides Dr. Tavakoli.

My husband has been to several podiatrists for pain due to being flat footed. He had been told nothing could be done except orthotics but the level of pain was increasing every year. A friend highly recommended Dr Tavakoli bc she helped her resolve a neuroma w/o surgery.
Dr T said my husband's flat feet could be resolved w an Edwards Osteotomy. His right foot surgery last January was very successful and he's now recovering from surgery of the left foot.
The Foot & Ankle Clinic is very well run and there is very little employee turnover- a very good sign. Dr Tavakoli is a warm, caring doctor and highly skilled surgeon. It takes us over an hour to drive to her clinic in Frisco but is worth every mile.

Dr. Mojgan Tavakoli is as good as it gets. I had been in an accident that resulted in a bone fragment loose in my toe joint. This was 2.5 years ago. Four doctors later, I popped by Dr. Tavakoli's for a consult for physical therapy while I was visiting TX, as per doctor #4, who had decided I was cured and prescribed said therapy.

Dr. Tavakoli watched me stand and take a step, and recognized that something was wrong. She took an X-ray, but then realized that she needed to dig deeper, and ordered a CAT-scan, which uncovered the bone fragment. She was the first doctor to pay enough attention, and care enough about how I was doing to find the cause of my issue. I was so impressed that I put travel back to my home state to go under her care for surgery and recovery. She was very compassionate through the whole process, which made me even more sure that I made the right choice.

To sum it up, she is the most competent, most caring doctor I've been to in years. I would recommend Dr. Tavakoli to friends and family in a heartbeat.
