One of the telltale signs of plantar warts is the development of little growths that have black centers. These darkened pinpoints are clotted blood vessels, which are unique characteristics of plantar warts.
They often resemble calluses, but if you pinch the lesion and it causes pain, it’s likely that it’s a wart. Warts can also be mistaken for porokeratosis and inclusion cysts.
