When do I need foot care? There are many reasons you might need foot care, some include:
Pain: Pain can occur anywhere in your feet and ankle, including the arches, the backs of the heels, the balls of the feet, the tops and sides of the feet and ankles , and the toes.
Appearance changes: Any changes in appearance can be cause for concern. This includes bruises, redness, new skin growths, bunions, new open wounds, ingrown toenails, and toenail thickening or warping.
Foot and ankle movement or function changes: If your feet don’t move the same way anymore, it could indicate a serious problem.
Underlying health problems: If you have underlying health problems, such as diabetes, you need regular foot care even if you don’t have any symptoms currently. Diabetes can cause nerve damage.
